One year ago today, Ryan Adams was playing the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NYC, with his then band, The Cardinals.

Who would have guessed one year later RA would be releasing his “classic slab of meaty pink marble vinyl” on Ryanada.ms, (of which is now Sold Out,) and working on his third book/novel “about nothing,” all while sporting a scruffy beard and exposing “Not Safe For Work or Play” photos?

At least we now know where DRA has been these past few weeks of hibernation from the ‘public eye,’ so to speak, of hardcore fans — a highly exclusive and special sect of the human race spread across the surface of the globe; a reaching that extends from  great centers of human activity, to earth’s equivalence of outer space’s black holes.
